How to Make Money Writing - Online Opportunities

how to make money writing

Want to know how to become a writer and how to do money writing? This is something that you may be interested in and wants to accomplish. Let's tell you about the experience I had. A few years ago, I was stuck and had no direction. I had no idea what was going on, let alone know how to do money writing, and soon found myself landed a miserable content mill gig.

That was me. You see, I had no direction, no one to ask for advice (aside from my friends who knew the local dog track), no real idea how to earn money writing, and no way to make good money short of quitting my day job. I soon discovered that there are ways that you can use to write for a living from home. One of which is social media.

Social media is a great way how to make money writing from home. First off, the people you're connecting with have a vested interest in promoting your content, whether through article submission, social networking, or affiliate products. The more people that know about your work, the more they'll promote it. So, how to make money writing from home with this tactic?

First off, I recommend joining several blogs. The trick is finding niche blogs within your niche or ones that are not too competitively maintained. For instance, I'm an accountant, so I wouldn't recommend writing about that topic or starting a blog just for accountants (accountants are an incredible niche topic). However, some other bloggers within that niche may be interested in your unique perspective on accounting and promote your link across multiple blogs (e.g., "bloggers in New York are promoting my link... because they want to know how to make money writing from home".

I recommend finding another blogger in your niche and becoming an owner of that blog from this research. I still maintain ownership of most of the blogs I own but write posts at these other writers' sites to earn revenue from their content and build up my passive income. I also encourage owners of other blogs to find writers who would like to write for them. You can either offer to do some writing as an affiliate (which would earn you commissions), or you can simply find someone who would be willing to take a chance on your earning potential and promote your link to their readers.

Another good option is to create a how-to-write for cash website, such as the excellent Red Robot. The content is original, and you have the option of selling your own products. With the Red Robot, many bloggers are making hundreds of dollars a month. This is another good option for you if you don't mind writing about something you already have knowledge of.

Finally, another excellent option is PayPal. You can sell your writing services through a blog or via PayPal from your website. The PayPal button is located at the bottom of every post and is just below the 'Don't worry, be happy' button. This button allows me to receive payments from my customers quickly, and it has a larger base of buyers than the other two options.

As you can see, there are several ways to make money online without having to create your own products or worry about selling your own products. The only real limitation is your imagination. If you like to write, then you should try affiliate marketing. If you like to sell things, you should become a seller on one of the large review sites. You have many opportunities out there, and if you use your brain, you can find solutions to making money writing in virtually no time. Good luck!
